P.V. Surf is the only beach camp in the South Bay with an owner who manages the day to day operations on the beach every single day. For this reason we have a perfect safety record for the 23 years we have been in business. This also ensures our instructors are very well supported and able to give all campers the individual attention they deserve. While most camp operations focus on building multiple camp locations, it is our intention to operate one camp location and do it extremely well.
The owner is Leith Emery, a local veteran school teacher and father, who grew up learning to surf on the very same beach our camp is located. As a father and a teacher, Leith has a vested interest in making sure your child is safe and has a positive life changing experience.
All of our camp sessions are led by knowledgeable and experienced instructors. Our instructors have very strong water skills and multiple years of ocean experience. We are dedicated to ensuring a fun and educational environment for all participants. The staff's first priority is incorporating ocean safety, while teaching the participants a variety of ocean sports in a fun environment.
